All weddings are special  to the happy couple but the  timeless elegance of Brooklands made the day magical. Special care had been taken to plant extra flowers and shrubs in time to frame the Marquee. The staff were well trained and performed their individual tasks carefully and unobtrusively. We hardly noticed they were there.They also ensured that the smallest details were taken care of, which in turn made sure that the day flowed seamlessly and was worry free for their guests.  The food was very favourably commented upon by some hard critics and pronounced 'excellent'   To sum up, when I asked my daughter if she had had the fairy tale wedding she wanted she replied that it had been that and  much more. It was a beautiful and wonderful day.

A Wondeful, Relaxing hotel..

I stayed here for work, but was extremely pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this hotel - all the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us, our room was absolutely beautiful with fresh flowers everywhere. The spa facilities were amazing - with a beautiful indoor pool where you can relax with a book, a cute little gym, and a lovely sauna/steam room. They also gave me a complimentary back massage, which was wonderful.

"My husband treated me to an overnight stay at Brooklands Country Retreat & Health Spa and I enjoyed my stay so much I feel compelled to write about it.

The staff were professional yet friendly and the treatments were wonderful using the aromatic Decleor products. Lunch was filling and a treat to have it with a glass of champagne - not the usual rabbit food you can get at some spas.

The bedroom or should I say suite was magnificent. Decorated in soothing earthy colours with patio doors opening onto a private secluded garden was breathtaking. I enjoyed having my relaxing bath looking out into the garden - heaven!

In the evening we dined in B Thai and I can honestly say it was the best Thai food I have eaten out of Thailand. Fresh, authentic ingredients which tasted wonderful. I was told that there are no freezers in the kitchen as everything is prepared fresh on the day. A great wine and champagne list complemented a great dinner.

I have already booked my next overnight stay at Brooklands, I left feeling totally relaxed and revitalised and I am already looking forward to my next visit."

"Loved the Brooklands Retreat and Spa, it's a beautiful place and it was lovely to spend the day there and have lunch too.

They give you a comfy bathrobe and slipppers for the day which is always nice! I really enjoyed the spa facilities, especially the hydrotherapy pool which was very relaxing.

Had a wonderful facial and a half hour massage - these really were the highlight"

Each treatment leaves you feeling totally fab and is if you are the only person there. The surroundings are beautiful and idealic views can be can be seen from every window.

Lunch was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all very helpful. What more can be said!"

"Wow, as soon as you drive in you can see this place is fantastic. The pool and gym are brilliant but you don't want to be in there long because the treatments are even better!!

Nothing at all no matter how big or small is to much trouble for the friendly, professional staff. Can't wait to go back."

"Excellent treatments, wonderful surroundings and great freshly prepared food all made my visit perfect. However the reason I would return is the level of customer service that I received from each department, you are treated as an individual and nothing is to much trouble.

"As my friend and I headed though the gates, the approach up the sweeping drive to the 19th century country house was enough to take our breath away. With roaming resident peacocks in the magnificent grounds we felt like we'd already entered a different world.

Our therapists carefully programmed our activities so that we could be wet and active for most of the morning, have a treatment before lunch and the other treatments after lunch. My friend commented that the manicure was the best she had ever had and would consider making the 45 minute trip for the manicure alone. Afterwards we both felt lifted and relaxed.

My only regret was not staying in one of the 11 bedrooms, six of which have been totaly refurbished and are exquisite. I would definitely return, either for a romantic getaway or just a girlie treat! "
